Mary’s Mobile Soup Kitchen is involved in grocery recovery efforts to pick up from a variety of merchants and then distribute to needy low-income food insecure people in Ogden, Layton, and any surplus we have goes into Salt Lake.
The folks we serve are
· The Davis Homeless Teen Living Center (SwitchPoint)
· The Ogden Homeless Veterans Fellowship,
· The Layton Fort Lane Senior Complex
· Unsheltered persons living in Davis County with any surplus going to the unsheltered people of Salt Lake City.
* We also provide food and drink to the Davis Warming Center (Tahlia) during Code Blue nights
* We are a registered 2-1-1 resource and respond to emergency needs for groceries and provide free food pantry schedules.
In 2025 we provided 500 hygiene kits. 400 were winter survival kits including underwear, flannel shirts, coats, socks, gloves and handmade hats along with hygiene items.

Meals, blankets, winter wear, and hygiene kits delivered directly to needy low-income people of Ogden, Davis and Salt Lake Counties

What started as a small act of compassion has grown into a ministry serving hundreds of people each week. With support from local churches, businesses, and generous neighbors, Mary’s Mobile Soup Kitchen continues to feed the body and spirit.

Together, we can make sure no neighbor goes hungry.
Grocers, restaurants, and community members can donate food, hygiene kits, laundered blankets and cold weather clothing to help us meet daily needs. And every financial gift, no matter the size, helps keep our wheels rolling and our shelves stocked so we can continue serving those who need it most.
Grocers, restaurants, and neighbors can give food, hygiene kits, or clothing.
Every dollar keeps the wheels rolling and shelves stocked.

AJ is super grateful for the meals and love shown to him. He's also super grateful for the clothing he received when he got his new job. He said he feels so blessed. AJ went from homeless and unemployed to employed and living in a van. We're so proud of him.

Together we can share food, hope, and compassion with those who need it most.
